I would say “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” but then I guess I wouldn’t be writing this article if that was the case. Obviously I will only give the PG recap of the week but for my first time in Vegas it was more than enough fun to last me a while, or at least until next year’s SEMA.
Having been to PRI (similar trade show in Indianapolis) more times than I can count I assumed that SEMA would be similar but with more import cars and less race cars, but most importantly not in cold Indy but in warm Sin City! I was right about some things and very wrong about others; most importantly my god is SEMA HUGE!
Not only was it a lot of the best companies and brands across from around the world but also some of the best cars and people. But even more surprising was the level of diversity of the cars and companies on display. From race cars to street cars to offroad and everything in between, there was something for everyone and it was almost impossible to take it all in.
I wont go into too much detail but Vegas was certainly a good time in the convention center and certainly a great time on the strip with some friends I only get to see a few times a year. That’s about all I can legally so youll just have to come and see for yourself. Cant wait for next year, hopefully ill see you there.
